What is live illustration?
Live illustration is the creation of portraits or sketches in real time during your event. Guests pose briefly while I draw them, and they receive a bespoke artwork to take home as a keepsake.
I’s live painting right for you and your event? How Does it work ?
If you can provide me with a table, good lighting, and two chairs in keeping with your event, that is always helpful. However I Can bring my own table and set-up if Required.
I provide all the paper and art materials, but we can also work together beforehand to add special details such as guest names, the wedding date, company logos, or brand stickers.
Each portrait is drawn live in expressive acrylic ink, which is waterproff when dry. Guests can pose and chat with me while I work, and they leave with a bespoke illustration to take home as a personal keepsake.
Do guests need to book a time slot?
Normally no. I work on a first-come, first-served basis. They are also Free To watch the Painting come to life.
Do you paint from photographs ?
Paintings can be created from photographs; however, drawing from life leads to the best experience for the sitter
How much does a Live Artist cost ?
My fee for live illustrations is typically £170 per hour, with a four-hour minimum booking. Travel to events within the Cotswolds and London is included
Additional Fees
Printed letterpress paper on request, Embossing and foiled options available
For bookings further afield, additional travel costs and accommodation may be chargeable where necessary.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A £170 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and reserve your event date. Once the deposit is paid, your event is fully confirmed.
